Step 1: Consultation
Your consultation (30-60 mins) allows us to understand what you’d like to change about your smile. Your dentist will assess the aesthetics of your smile, observing how your teeth sit together and their shape and shade.
Images and scans of your teeth may be digitally taken, allowing us to design how the composite resin will create a new and more natural-looking smile.
A bespoke trial smile is produced for more comprehensive transformations, allowing us to make any small adjustments before the composite bonding process begins. This trial smile is shown both digitally and can also be tried in your mouth to allow you to have an accurate idea of how things will look after treatment. You have full control in full makeover cases, as you can choose the shape, size, and colour of the teeth.
Step 2: Your treatment appointment
The composite resin is ready to be fitted to your teeth. Your teeth will be conditioned, and the layers of the composite will be added piece by piece. This gradual application allows your dentist to recreate the life-like appearance of real enamel, leaving you with beautiful, newly restored teeth. The composite is hardened with a blue UV light, which sets the resins in place.
